It's no secret that I love, love, love Postal Services (not just the USPS) so I was pretty stoked about a recent assignment in my Digital Art/Vector Graphics class. We had to design a postage stamp following the guidelines given by the US Postal Service. I went with a state birds and flowers theme and chose to do a stamp for Hawaii (of course!). Here is an unfinished version:
(Note: this is a project for an art class. It is in no way a legal/usable stamp. The purpose of the project was to learn to design/create art on a very small scale. This "stamp" is not intended to be legitimate postage).
